Giclée is derived from a French word meaning "to spray". In the mid 90's it became possible to reproduce art by spraying invisible droplets of ink onto canvas to produce a near perfect copy of an original piece of art.

At Sheldon Photographic we have many years experience in the supply and use of digital imaging products both from the capture and printing of Fine-Art reproduction. We have digital cameras with up to 96 mega-pixel capture, High-end scanning services using Imacon scanners and printing options using Epson's 44" printers onto Hahnemúlhe archival papers.
